Located on the lawn in front of the TSMC Building, Confrontation, Conversation (2013) consists of a huge granite go board on which the upright playing pieces made of stainless steel plates and copper bars seem to be dancing, creating a dynamic visual effect within three-dimensional space. The stately ease of this distinctive work of public art stands in lively juxtaposition to the vigor generated by the dynamic maneuvering suggested by the black and white playing pieces.
